Performs actuarial calculations and analyses across product development, financial management, reserving, experience studies, risk management, reporting, and regulatory requests. Investigates data and assumption issues, prepares reports and presentations, supports audits and research, and improves actuarial processes using emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools. Collaborates with Accounting and Operations while progressing toward ASA and FSA designations.

An 11-week paid actuarial internship supporting product development, financial management, risk management, and actuarial analytics. Responsibilities include compiling and validating data, conducting actuarial studies and experience analyses, performing calculations and reserve analyses, preparing financial projections and management reports, documenting methodologies and assumptions, and collaborating with business partners. Interns also receive mentorship, technology training, leadership exposure, and presentation-development opportunities.

Manages accounting functions, ledger closings, reconciliations, journal vouchers, financial analysis, audit support, regulatory and GAAP reporting, insurance filings, consolidations, and process improvements. The role researches accounting guidance, documents controls, supports management reporting, participates in projects, and collaborates with financial management teams across affiliated insurance entities.
