Lead pre-sales solution design for Qumulo’s cloud data platform across edge, datacenter, and cloud environments. Responsibilities include customer discovery, scalable architecture design, technical proposals, RFP responses, business case development, demos, proof-of-concept deployments, deal strategy, and executive-level presentations. Build trusted customer relationships, address objections, contribute to thought leadership, and travel up to 20% across the Pacific Northwest.

Manages approximately 100 commercial and mid-market accounts, developing growth strategies and expanding revenue through upsells, cross-sells, added capacity, new workloads, and term extensions. Owns account planning, pipeline forecasting, CRM hygiene, proposals, negotiations, and commercial relationships. Partners with Customer Success, Renewals, Sales Engineering, Support, and channel partners to identify opportunities, improve adoption, retain customers, and close expansion deals across the western United States.

Own and prepare financial reports and forecasts (cash flow, quarterly decks, board reporting); build and review operating expense plans in Workday Adaptive; model SaaS revenue from ACV through bookings, billings, and ARR; run plan-vs-actual reviews; automate recurring workflows; and answer strategic financial questions and scenario analyses.

Software Engineering Interns will contribute to Qumulo’s distributed storage platform using C, Rust, and Python. Responsibilities include designing and implementing product features, participating in code reviews and pair programming, collaborating on architecture, testing, debugging failures, and resolving product or service issues. Interns will work directly with engineering teams on customer-facing functionality and internal improvements involving distributed systems, file systems, concurrency, and operating systems.

Develop and test distributed storage software using C, Rust, and Python. Collaborate on architecture, design, code reviews, and pair programming; implement customer-facing features and system improvements; and debug complex test and production issues. The role involves distributed systems, fault tolerance, file systems, concurrency, replication, backup, and operating-system concepts under the mentorship of senior engineers.

Lead Qumulo’s Pacific Northwest enterprise sales organization, owning regional strategy, revenue targets, pipeline management, forecasting, talent development, and executive customer engagement. Build relationships with enterprise customers and strategic partners, develop joint go-to-market initiatives, inspect complex deals, and collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Alliances, and Customer Success. The role requires extensive enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and data-storage sales leadership experience.

Design and automate scale and resilience tests for Qumulo's hybrid cloud storage platform. Build test frameworks and schedules, automate manual tests, troubleshoot failures across VMs and hardware, analyze cluster/C error logs, implement monitoring and alerts, participate in on-call, and help set release quality standards.

Lead lifecycle for enterprise and OEM/channel customers—onboard, deploy, drive adoption, retention, renewals, and expansion.
