Teams at Rover

Build and launch customer-facing backend and frontend features for Rover’s recommendations and marketplace platform. Work with senior engineers to break down requirements, improve Elasticsearch search, support data science and machine learning initiatives, and enhance personalization. Collaborate with analysts, designers, and data scientists while following strong software development, testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.

Lead Rover’s acquisition and strategic partnership efforts from target sourcing and investment thesis development through valuation, negotiation, closing, integration, and post-close evaluation. Build financial models, assess synergies and risks, manage stakeholders, maintain an external target pipeline, monitor the pet industry ecosystem, and develop relationships with company founders and executives. Coach junior team members on financial modeling and deal execution.

Lead design for a new pricing team: define strategy, run workshops, partner with PMs, engineers, and data analysts, conduct user research and testing, create engineering-ready deliverables, and measure customer experience outcomes across web and mobile platforms.
