Performs field assessments, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, sediment transport and erosion studies, floodplain modeling, and design of habitat restoration and hydraulic structures. Prepares plans, specifications, estimates, reports, proposals, and project budgets. Provides construction observation, technical support, client development, and project management. The role requires fieldwork in varied weather and terrain, travel to project sites, strong communication skills, and proficiency with civil design, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.

Leads the CAD team within a multidisciplinary engineering firm, overseeing drafting production, CAD standards, templates, quality control, project timelines, and workload delegation. Produces geotechnical and construction drawings using Autodesk, Bentley, GIS, survey, lidar, and 3D modeling data. Coordinates with engineers, scientists, project managers, field staff, IT, and software support. Trains staff, maintains CAD systems and file organization, and supports projects across offices while following quality, health, and safety policies.

Lead development and delivery of rock mechanics services including field data collection, rock mass characterization, rockfall and slope stability analysis, tunnel and rock reinforcement design, monitoring and instrumentation, produce technical reports/designs, mentor staff, expand client relationships, and support projects nationwide with occasional field travel.

Lead hydrogeological analyses, manage multiple client projects, prepare technical reports, mentor and supervise junior staff, review technical deliverables, support business development, and follow company QA and safety policies.
