Own security architecture, threat modeling, sandboxing, isolation, web security, memory-safety improvements, vulnerability research, fuzzing, exploitability analysis, and bug bounty operations. Partner across native and web engineering teams, mentor engineers, establish secure design patterns, and drive complex security initiatives through resolution.

Design, implement, test, debug, and operate scalable backend services such as identity, friend graph, and persistence systems. Collaborate across teams to deliver product solutions while maintaining availability, scalability, security, operational excellence, and cost efficiency. Investigate incidents and hotfixes, apply distributed-systems best practices, and use AI-assisted development tools while auditing output for quality and security.

Leads technical vision, architecture, and execution for Snap’s spam, abuse, account takeover, and account security systems. Designs large-scale, low-latency detection and enforcement platforms, secure authentication and mobile client flows, and real-time risk systems. Mentors engineers, drives multi-year strategy, partners across engineering and product teams, improves reliability and security, and leads responses to major abuse and security incidents.
