Teams at Sound Transit

Leads the design delivery of transit capital projects, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, agency departments, stakeholders, and third parties. Manages design scopes, contracts, schedules, budgets, reviews, permits, risk, construction support, and resolution of technical issues. Supervises and develops staff, ensures regulatory and policy compliance, supports public and executive communications, and represents the agency in project and professional forums.

Design and govern secure, scalable Azure-based enterprise solutions. Lead architectural reviews, coordinate cross-team integrations, drive standards and governance, mentor solution architects, support procurement and vendor reviews, and translate designs into operational deliverables while aligning technology with business strategy.

Manage and mentor in-house and on-call design consultants for small capital projects. Oversee design quality, schedules, resources, contract documents, technical reviews, cost estimating, and root cause analyses. Ensure compliance with agency standards and codes, coordinate with construction and operations, and provide senior-level engineering, signing/stamping of documents, and process improvements.
