Partners with product and business stakeholders, develops AI and GenAI capabilities, influences without direct authority, and mentors senior engineers.

Set company-wide technical direction across product and platform architecture; lead large-scale architecture transformations, distributed systems design, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence. Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, and design reviews while developing AI and GenAI capabilities. Influence executives and cross-functional leaders, improve global commerce reliability and performance, and mentor senior engineers toward Principal-level impact.

Build and maintain reliable software products and platforms, including APIs, services, user-facing features, data workflows, and operational tools. Responsibilities include implementation, testing, releases, production support, defect resolution, monitoring, documentation, code reviews, and collaboration with Product and Design. The role also involves using AI-assisted development tools, learning business and technical domains, and contributing to continuous improvement.
