Designs and optimizes material flow, equipment layouts, production sequencing, and automation across sawmill and engineered wood facilities. Conducts bottleneck analysis, time studies, OEE analysis, capacity modeling, and lean improvement initiatives. Partners with production, maintenance, and capital projects teams on equipment installations, mill reconfigurations, modernization, commissioning, and documentation. Requires hands-on mill-floor work and extensive wood products manufacturing experience.

Own full-cycle recruiting for salaried and hourly roles across engineering, finance, operations, production, and skilled trades. Responsibilities include sourcing, candidate screening, interview scheduling, hiring manager partnership, ATS management, offer coordination, hiring events, job fairs, staffing agency collaboration, and candidate communications. The recruiter will track recruiting metrics, improve hiring processes, support onboarding handoffs, and travel regularly to Mississippi mill sites.

Own the full accounting function, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close, GAAP reporting, general ledger, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll accounting, audits, internal controls, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and acquisition integration. Partner with finance, HR, auditors, and leadership; lead ERP implementation; and build and develop the accounting team as new manufacturing sites and acquisitions are added.
