Teams at The Nature Conservancy

Leads Washington conservation transactions, including land acquisitions, easements, donations, leases, and preserve transfers. Manages complex projects, negotiations, legal and financial considerations, partner relationships, fundraising support, project approvals, and a team of 2–3 staff. Collaborates with government agencies, Tribes, conservation organizations, landowners, and internal teams to advance climate-resilient conservation goals. Oversees budgets, workflows, performance management, and regional transaction coordination.

Manages budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, analysis, close activities, grants management, donor reporting, compliance, controls, and project budgets for an assigned finance portfolio. Provides decision-support insights, maintains financial data integrity, supports process improvements, approves expenses and invoices, prepares journal entries, and advises stakeholders in a complex nonprofit environment.

Provides specialized financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and strategic advisory support to Capital Markets and other business units. Manages cash flow transactions, debt and credit ratings, funding strategies, financial models, performance reporting, risk analyses, and conservation finance transactions. Oversees compliance, projects, vendors, and potentially staff while advising senior leadership on financial and lending decisions.
