Build, enhance, and maintain backend APIs and services supporting VA beneficiary travel claim submissions. Develop integrations with VA.gov, vets-api, mobile apps, and staff tools. Deliver secure, reliable services through agile sprints, testing, documentation, code reviews, and pair programming. Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and zero-downtime deployments, troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call escalations, and ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and authoritative data standards.

Develops and maintains backend services, APIs, integrations, and claim-processing systems supporting VA travel claims. Responsibilities include coding, testing, documentation, code reviews, pair programming, CI/CD collaboration, zero-downtime deployments, production troubleshooting, and on-call support. The role works in two-week Agile sprints with designers, analysts, product owners, DevOps, and other engineers while adhering to VA accessibility, security, and data standards.

Develops and maintains complex technical integration schedules for Oracle Health EHR interfaces supporting federal healthcare modernization programs. Builds DCMA-compliant schedules, prepares client-facing and leadership reports, monitors schedule risks, presents briefings, and coordinates schedule data across development teams, subcontractors, government partners, and numerous stakeholders. Supports task orders, deployment activities, cross-project impact analysis, and process improvements.
