Manage relationships with school districts, transportation directors, and operators; analyze transit performance data; improve service quality and efficiency; lead contract renewals and expansions; coordinate launches and internal teams; present operational updates; and develop scalable partner-success playbooks. The role is quota-carrying, customer-focused, and requires approximately 50% travel.

Lead Via’s West Coast operations portfolio, owning regional P&L, service performance, growth strategy, and operational excellence. Manage and develop Field Operations Managers, General Managers, and Operations Managers while launching markets and service types. Partner with transit agencies, commercial teams, finance, product, safety, fleet, HR, and other functions to improve reliability, staffing, compliance, customer experience, and margins. Navigate complex regulatory and contractual environments and prioritize resources across high-growth markets.

Supervise transit drivers through ride-alongs and field evaluations, provide safety and service coaching, deliver training, manage post-accident and incident protocols, and ensure DOT compliance. Respond to urgent operational issues, review complaints and driver feedback, assess training needs, and maintain service continuity and safety standards. The role is primarily on-road, with evening and weekend coverage expected.
