Applies SRE principles, defines SLOs and SLIs, improves performance and capacity planning, participates in incident response, and mentors engineers. Communicates architectural decisions across technical and non-technical teams while promoting automation and continuous improvement.

Designs, engineers, deploys, commissions, and supports ROADM-based DWDM and OTN optical transport networks supporting 100G/400G services and IP/MPLS core connectivity. Responsibilities include optical link engineering, capacity planning, equipment specifications, vendor evaluation, automation, fault isolation, service provisioning, network turn-up, documentation, and technical mentorship. The role coordinates with architecture, operations, vendors, and fiber providers; participates in on-call support and travels to project sites as required.

Lead infrastructure architecture for compute, virtualization, containers, databases, storage, and hybrid cloud.
