Founded in 2019 in Seattle, Change State is a rapidly growing recruitment marketing agency seeking a Client Service Expert to manage client accounts with impeccable attention to detail, white glove service, and most importantly, a sense of humor.

**Job Description**
Previous recruitment experience is extremely important to us, as we're looking for someone who can make an impact on day one.  

As Client Service Expert, your job will be to address routine client requests, including:

Posting jobs on Indeed, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter and other job boards

Overseeing Google PPC budgets and campaigns

Managing client posts and advertising on social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram

Monitoring employee reviews on sites like Glassdoor or Indeed, and crafting professional responses

Creating reports summarizing campaign performance across the funnel (awareness, application, interview, hire)

Programmatic campaign maintenance and monitoring

Assisting with light creative needs, from landing page creation (Unbounce) to ad creation (Canva)

Other fun, exciting projects that help move our business forward. 
 

**What You Can Expect From Us**

You’ll be working directly with Change State’s two co-founders, who both live/work in the Seattle area. If you live close by, that’d be rad, but it’s not necessary. This is a work-at-home role, whether home is your 1987 Westfalia (we’ll be jealous), a cabin in the woods, an apartment in the city, or anything in between (boats are also okay!)

We’re smart and good at what we do, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and neither should you. This role won’t always be super engaging (unless you consider posting jobs on Craigslist in Scranton super engaging), but for the right candidate, there’s plenty of opportunity to grow with us and carve out your space in a quickly growing start-up. 

We believe companies work best when people are energized by what they do, so you have to care at least a little about recruitment marketing, helping leading brands optimize their messaging and candidate experiences, and ultimately, connecting the right employees with their available jobs.

While this isn’t rocket science and we’ll be partnering with our client success expert, we're certainly looking for someone who is whip-smart and has top notch communication skills. 

 

**What We’ll Expect From You:**

Great communication skills are absolutely crucial. 

Respond to clients within 24 hours, quicker if possible. (No, not including weekends.)

“Under promise and overdeliver” is an ethos we take seriously, and so should you. 

We love data. You don’t need to be Nate Silver, but you have to have some clue what Excel is and how to use it.

Mistakes happen – we’re not perfect and we don’t expect you to be. We do expect you to own them and communicate transparently if they happen so we can all learn together.

Ask for help, but only after you tried to figure it out yourself first

Recruiting experience could be a plus…

Fresh perspective and no recruiting experience could also be a plus…

 

**Other things you may want to be aware of:**

We’re a small team, and still working out our processes and workflows. This can be a little chaotic at times. Ideally we’re looking for someone who sees this as an opportunity to help us build a repeatable framework for what a “Client Service Expert” is and does. Also, hopefully you can help us come up with a better job title?

We’re generally up early to service East coast clients and connect with partners in Europe.If the occasional 7 am Pacific phone call is a dealbreaker for you, this may not be a perfect fit.

Having a life is important to us. But we’ll move mountains to make sure our clients are thrilled, and we’re looking for someone with similar drive. Occasionally that means we’re chained to our lap for a week or two. Other times (hopefully increasingly often), we knock off early for a hike or beers, or disappear for a mid week camping trip. We work to live, not live to work, but if you’re looking for a fixed 8-hour schedule, this probably isn’t your jam.

 
**A bit more about the Change State founding team: **

Graham and Marty (co-founders) have been friends since high school, and this is our second business together (our first was a lawn mowing business).

We pride ourselves in writing and producing all of our own original content - which we feel is an important way for us to continue learning and growing as a team.
