The successful Director of Human Resources will help shape talent initiatives, people priorities, and growth plans for our global organization. This role will partner with the VP of HR and lead a team of HRBPs to help drive ExtraHop’s leadership initiatives, training and education programs, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in the following areas:

  • Work collaboratively across the company to recommend and implement people programs that enable ExtraHoppers to do their best work and achieve business objectives
  • Partner with the entire People Team(HR/Recruiting/Ops) to develop the roadmap to help us scale and grow globally
  • Continuously iterate and implement changes and improvement to the employee lifecycle 
  • Provide guidance to ExtraHop leaders on industry talent trends and relevant legislation to ensure organization’s compliance, including federal, state, and local legislation.
  • Implement and interpret HR policies and programs for the best employee relations outcomes
  • Lead the development and delivery of a management excellence curriculum
  • Partner with other leaders to continuously guide the organization’s DEIB journey
  • Drive continuous improvement of performance management, and coach employees and leaders.
  • Take a data driven approach to problem solving 
  • Interact and work with other leaders to forecast, plan and formulate long-range company objectives relating to the human capital side of the company.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • SPHR Certification
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience in a functional, manager and/or generalist role providing support for benefits, compensation, recruiting, employee and labor relations, policy design/ implementation, and management training
  • 4+ years in management or leadership positions of increasing responsibility
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making qualities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff
  • Demonstrated experience scaling and growing the HR function in a technical and high growth environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong critical-thinking and communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of the organization, influence decision makers, and set and manage expectations.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, and employee relations
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic HR best practices and trends (i.e. people assessment, succession planning, career development, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of business objectives, the people aspect of the division, brand and function, competitors, markets trends and consumers; flexibility and adaptability in evolving business environment
  • Must have sense of urgency and results/service orientation with a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness; ability to handle fast pace and operate with ambiguity  #LI-BKW
