About the role 

Syndio’s software is front and center in defining a new way to eradicate workplace pay disparities. To do this, we have big staffing ambitions for the next 12-18 months and need to embed operational excellence in all of our processes. We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced recruiter to join our growing HR department, and help us meet our ambitious goals. The successful individual will have experience with full life cycle recruitment supporting both technical and non-technical roles. From generating pipeline to maintaining a successful offer acceptance rate, you will be responsible for managing the entire candidate process. You will be a critical player in successfully scaling our company. This role will report directly to the HR Manager and collaborate with our Lead Recruiter.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the full candidate lifecycle for a variety of positions (product, engineering, sales, marketing and operations)
  • Partner with leaders to develop sourcing strategies for current and future needs.
  • Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
  • Pre-screen resumes and/or candidates and provide a summary to hiring managers
  • Support the continuous improvement of the hiring process to ensure a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Provide HR reports to leadership and hiring teams
  • Promote company’s reputation

About you

  • You have 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in-house or with top tier agency or retained search firm
  • You have strong research skills and experience sourcing through social media
  • You are able to quickly build rapport and prioritize relationship building, client management and organizational skills
  • You have strong attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency
  • You have experience managing multiple projects at once, tracking performance and regularly providing visibility to multiple stakeholders
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable interacting with all levels of the company, while discerning and managing confidential and sensitive information
  • You’re self-motivated, able to execute on objectives, with minimal hand-holding or supervision, while reaching out for support as needed from our collaborative team
  • You are diligently curious, eager to engage deeply with our team and candidates to understand opportunities for improvement and growth
  • You thrive in an all-hands-on-deck, collaborative startup environment, and lean into challenges and aren’t intimidated to find answers to questions outside of your immediate area of expertise
  • You are passionate about our mission to advance workplace fairness, and share that passion in your interactions with candidates

Role progression

  • Within 1 month, you’ll complete a comprehensive and supportive onboarding process to help you understand the product, the business, our core functions, and the employee experience while supporting the hiring process for active positions.
  • Within 3 months, you will own the end-to-end process for your requisitions and be well on your way to helping us meet our hiring forecast with robust pipelines of talent.
  • Within 6 months, you will have enabled our largest year of growth thus far, strengthened our employer brand, and optimized various processes.

Extra credit

  • Degree in HR-related field
  • SHRM/ HCI Certification 
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse applicant tracking system, and other HRIS

Location

Our company is currently considered fully remote with the intention to go hybrid and get an office in Seattle where about 25% of our company resides. Until then, the team will often get together for coffee or lunch or after work cocktails to connect in person.
