About the Role:

We're seeking an HRIS/ HR Operations Analyst to join our People Operations team! This is a full-time role and can be based remotely anywhere in the US. The HRIS/HR Operations Analyst partners with internal stakeholders and external partners to review, design, and deliver solutions that inspire and empower our people to go further faster. You are a continuous improvement champion and use that skill to lead others in creating outstanding employee experiences around HR systems and processes. You are innovative in connecting people, processes, and technology. You use strong analytical skills, process excellence, and systems expertise to design and deliver strategies, systems, and processes that elevate HR operational capabilities. The role will add tremendous value by providing reports, dashboards, and insights to enable DreamBox to make the right business decisions, proactively identify areas of opportunity, and continuously improve to move the business forward.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Contributing to the design of effective and scalable HR solutions, including but not limited to business processes and technology solutions that meet business needs and compliance obligations.
  • Fostering a data-driven culture by architecting and developing reporting and analytics solutions and utilizing data to uncover insights, communicate critical findings, and create actionable recommendations.
  • Seeking and analyzing information to identify best practices and trends to conceptualize and recommend solutions; helping others understand and embrace how to best leverage processes and technology.
  • Collecting and compiling HR metrics and data from various sources, including the human resource information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, performance data, and other sources.
  • Analyzing data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, learning and development, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Providing support and guidance to members of the People Team.


About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related HR experience required; experience in a technology services environment preferred
  • Proficient with HRIS, payroll, and other employee technology applications, ideally in evaluation, selection, and implementation and their effectiveness to drive business priorities
  • Working knowledge of data reporting and analytics and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on teams and consult effectively and independently across levels and functional areas
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in critical thinking by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Strong verbal and written skills are needed for communication that is appropriate and effective for the needs of the audience and various levels of the company
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethics in handling confidential information
  • Ability to consistently meet deliverables, and work independently and demonstrate the ability to adapt and work in the grey areas
  • Proficient in HR information systems, MS Office Suite, and SharePoint (preferred) with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. DreamBox will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
