About the Role

As a HR Coordinator on our Human Resource Team, you’ll play an integral role in keeping track of all our data for our employees worldwide. You’ll also make sure new hires have everything they need to get started on day one, and help make Assurance one of the best places to work so that employees enjoy coming back day after day. In this role, you’ll get valuable exposure to a variety of human resource functions and how to scale them with a rapidly growing company.


Ideal candidates will bring to the table a strong set of communication and organizational skills combined with an innate ability to work quickly and efficiently as Assurance continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee information within multiple HR related systems and trackers
  • Liaison with our Talent, Payroll, Facilities, and IT teams to make sure new employees are set up for their first day
  • Maintain accurate records of our employees in our HRIS on an ongoing basis by submitting employment related changes like manager updates, salary increases, or promotions
  • Drive new hire onboarding; communicating and ensuring new hire paperwork is filled out timely and completely
  • Offboard employees when they leave the company, coordinating with Facilities, IT, and payroll to ensure all systems are turned off and final payment has been issued according to applicable state law
  • Assist with reviewing timecards to ensure accuracy of time keeping records
  • Respond and process written requests from state agencies
  • Field and respond to employee questions with a customer service mentality
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
  • Assist the Human Resource Team with other projects as necessary

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience working in human resources or a related field
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic environment with multiple organizational cultures; comfortable with multi-tasking requirements
  • Impeccable organization skills and attention-to-detail
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Works comfortably under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email. MS Office 365 and related HR software (Paylocity. Workday)
  • Analytical mindset with a desire to improve current processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
