What this role is about:
Donuts is seeking a key Human Resources contributor to support a fast moving company with amazing employees located in multiple US cities as well as in Canada, Ireland and China. This role is built for the quintessential generalist who is confident in their ability to shift focus and priorities. The right candidate will have a solid background as a generalist, (preferably having start-up experience) with strong operational ability in all aspects of Human Resources (recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and legal compliance).

What we would like to see in your experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an HR professional who can comfortably interface and support all levels of the organization
- Current PHR/SHRM-CP certification
- BA/BS Degree
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and understanding of cross functional group dynamics
- Successful track record of establishing credibility and trust with a diverse and sometimes remote employee base
- Strong analytical skills; A critical thinker with the ability to seek out and utilize data for creative problem solving
- Strong judgment, diplomacy and negotiation skills
- A polished communicator; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations and trainings
What you’ll do in this role:
- Work with managers to create job descriptions, assist with recruiting process and provide a data driven compensation recommendation
- Provide first line HR support to employees, leadership and executives
- Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant employment laws
- Manage all benefits and vendor relationships as well as annual benefit renewal process
- Recommend and implement effective HR policies and processes
- Facilitate complex and sensitive employee relations, legal and management issues to resolution
- Coordinate quarterly and annual employee reviews
- Effectively utilize HR tools (HRIS, ATS, Performance Management, Benefits, Cobra)
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure employee information is communicated accurately and timely
- Maintain all personnel files
- Work with social committee and Office Manager in planning and executing company social events
