The Senior HR Generalist acts as a business partner to assigned groups, manages the administration of DDI’s benefits with our broker, is the main point of contact for LOA programs, conducts new hire orientation, manages immigration processes, mentors the HR Coordinator and updates the human resources policies, procedures, and programs in close cooperation with the HR Director. In this role, you will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits, HRIS, immigration, employee relations for assigned groups, benefits, compensation.

What you should bring to the table
- 5 to 8 years of progressively complex related experience
- Self-directed with a proven ability to meet deliverables for assigned activities
- Able to support attainment of several short- and mid-term objectives
- Excellent at solving complex problems in a resourceful and effective way
- Comfortable interacting with internal and external contacts at all levels to share complex information related to area of expertise
- Hands on with a sharp attention to detail to deliver excellent work product
- Participates in determining approaches and in developing new or enhanced technical tools
- Mentors less experienced members of the team
Placing your best bet - the responsibilities
At the direction of the HR Director, the Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:
- Performance Management and Improvement Systems
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
- Employee orientation, development, and training
- Policy development and documentation
- Immigration and visa support and application management
- Employee relations and pulse checks
- Company employee communication
- HRIS master user
- Benefits administration
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; and
- Employee services and counseling
Hitting the jackpot
The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Human Resources Director and is a senior individual contributor that performs a variety of human resources services. Has in-depth expertise and experience in a small company. Implements human resources activities in areas such as benefits, employee relations, human resources information systems, orientation and rewards systems. Implements and administers programs. Maintains program information. Counsels employees concerning LOA’s and proper use of company policies.
