About The Role:

The IT Systems Administrator is a highly visible and critical role that is responsible for delivering a world-class employee experience across all levels of the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the organization’s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions. This role will stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the integrity and security of the company’s IT systems. Focus will not only be on desktop and infrastructure support but will also act as a project manager for small to medium projects around technology upgrades, new hardware, and software deployments, and cyber security posture. Due to the high-level of visibility required and to ensure a white-glove employee experience, this role will be required to be on-site at our Seattle office 5 days per week.


What You Will Do:

Systems Administration:

  • Administer user accounts, permission levels, and leverage SSO solutions to manage access rights across systems and applications.
  • Recommend and implement system upgrades and configuration changes to improve the overall security posture of systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Employee Experience:

  • Maintain the highest level of customer support through proactive management and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Provide a high-touch, white-glove experience.
  • Maintain and meet SLA and KPI based support expectations.
  • Provide technical desktop support to end users across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage deployment of key software updates for all desktop computers.
  • Administer Office 365 platform including, OneDrive, Slack, MS Office, Outlook, and Exchange.
  • Provide end user training and guidance on IT best practices and security awareness.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding activities.

Network and Infrastructure Management:

  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, WAPs, switches, and firewalls while troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing network traffic.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to optimize network traffic.
  • Update and troubleshoot on-site AV equipment including ZoomRoom configurations and Logitech equipment.

Security and Compliance:

  • Manage the help desk staff and activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems using best practices and ticketing systems.
  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection solutions, and access controls.
  • Assist in compliance and security audits. Address and resolve potential gaps and vulnerabilities.


Who We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a help desk, cyber security, or IT systems administration role.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and MacOS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure and AWS cloud experience.
  • Experience implementing and managing Microsoft cloud services, such as Intune.
  • Experience with networking and infrastructure support including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Demonstratable experience in networking configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security solutions, policies, frameworks, and privacy regulations including SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Ability to build for the long term, but also able to find efficient short-term solutions.
  • Ability to partner and provide support across all levels of the organization – from the executive team to junior employees.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated success managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and achieving or surpassing goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of service excellence that demonstrates exemplary employee experience.


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Microsoft Certifications
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell.
  • Previous experience with ITIL practices.

Actual salaries are just one component of the compensation package and may vary above or below the range based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and performance. The pay range for this position located in Seattle is $100,000 - $120,000 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and other team-specific awards.
