Operations Manager

Mason is looking for an Operations Manager to help our Operations team ship high quality devices, accessories and services to our customers across the globe. You will be responsible for the overall well-being of the company’s operations. This role will require a big-picture perspective and ability to determine needs within the company and connect groups to work together to solve problems as they arise. This role needs to be a critical thinker who can analyze situations and make decisions geared toward the company’s best interests rather than those of a single department.

What you’ll work on:
- Identifying processes and determining where efficiency could be optimized and reduced cost Managing overall operations and responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures
- Working with Sales to develop product forecasts, coordinating with the APAC team to manufacture and ship products to appropriate fulfillment centers, and developing capacity plans to meet customer demands
- Creating Operations metric and data collection capabilities
- Authoring and discussing with employees performance appraisals and employee motivation and rewards
- Establishing and maintaining fulfillment centers and assembly production lines
- Recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees
- Analyzing process workflow, information flow, and business processes to look for opportunities for improvement
- Developing operations systems for product handling and storage, product receiving, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
- Managing projects in Mass Production & Sustaining Engineering. Specific responsibilities during these phases include:
- Working with the Engineering and Product teams to develop tools or features to optimize the current processes Maintaining Operations processes/services requirements
- Leading project meetings and reporting on status Working with our Legal team to review technical contract details.
- Working with the Engineering and Finance teams to identify project opportunities for our released hardware that could reduce cost, reduce supply chain risks, improve reliability, or improve functionality.
- Tracking hardware performance and competition in the market in order to strategically time hardware product refreshes.
- Developing RMA process
- Driving corrective actions for customer complaints and RMA
- Collaborating with Engineering on change management

What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of experience bringing consumer electronics to market with a focus on High volume manufacturing (>100k/yr) Global distribution and country-specific regulations
- Both domestic and off-shore manufacturing Hands-on project management experience including
- PLM and ERP systems Managing internal partner relationships
- Experience managing in-house and outsourced Operations teams
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Propel PLM, Salesforce, Airtable and Unleashed system
- Technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
