Tango Card seeks a Program Manager to join our Operations team to provide leadership around operationally-focused projects. From the view of our employees, you’ll drive impact in partnering with your Tango Card teammates to fulfill our mission of making rewards easy to send and awesome to receive. 

You will utilize project, process and change management principles plus excellent communications skills to guide and track projects that meet company objectives (OKRs). Using your drive and ability to work across different teams, you’ll ensure our initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and inside approved budget parameters.

This role excludes product development projects, which are managed inside the engineering organization. The Operations Program Manager reports to the Sr. Director, Operations in our Seattle office. 

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Lead operational and/or company-wide projects in support of our objectives (OKRs), driving successful outcomes through effective application of project management methodologies and coordination across teams. 
  • Tracking and monitoring project updates, proactively communicating to various stakeholders with appropriate context. 
  • Work with the leadership team and all departments to ensure company-wide priorities and opportunities are being successfully understood and prioritization honored. 
  • Confidently can use data in analyzing and reporting impact of Operations' effectiveness in improving our customers’ experience.
  • Able to support implementation and management of technology solutions and tools to support Operations’ evolving needs. 
  • Will participate in and help cultivate a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, change management, and aligning with Tango Card’s core values. 
  • Educate key partners on effective project planning, project management and execution. 
  • Your Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; ideally within a technology company 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • Ability to work autonomously as needed 
  • Must be comfortable with cross-functional, matrix-like organizational leadership. 
  • Strong analysis skills, including defining key milestones, gathering data/input and providing actionable next steps 
  • Excellent at time management and organization, including ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Proven ability to assess problems, identify solutions, remove barriers, bring people along and get results. Understands the power of humility and teamwork. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships, establish trust and lead through influence; people skills to drive engagement and alignment across teams, while also ensuring accountability, pushing back when needed in a constructive way. 
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle, respecting outlined scope, budget, and timelines
