Role: Renewals Account Manager (AM)

Responsibilities

  • Managed an assigned book of subscription and maintenance renewals.
  • Pro-actively engaged with customers to provide a renewal quote, answer customer questions, and facilitate orders in a timely manner. 
  • Upsell multi-year subscription plan and services.
  • Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities through the renewals process and engage sales to maximize the revenue opportunity.
  • Follow-up with partners on a regular basis to ensure support renewals are maximized.
  • Work proactively with the partner channel to anticipate potential roadblocks and provide a seamless purchasing experience for our end users.
  •  Utilize ExtraHop's specific sales process to track all assigned opportunities. Track and manage all opportunities through Salesforce.com.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections, competitive questions, and other FAQs
  • Comply with subscription and support sales processes. 
  • Participate in the expired renewals sales process to reduce churn and increase sales. 
  • Discuss activities, opportunities, and issues with cross-functional team (Field Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Operations)
  •  Participate in weekly forecast renewals review.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree preferred 
  • 2+ years relevant account management or renewal sales experience with a proven record of success 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently & proactively in a dynamic startup environment 
  • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills 
  • Someone who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of our sales organization
  • Travel as necessary to foster relationships with customers in territory.
