As part of our best in class Sales Operations organization, the Sales Order Administrator will be responsible for processing order entries, facilitating and providing support throughout the CPQ process, and performing ticket remediation. This position will ensure an efficient and process-oriented order flow from end-customers and the channel. Additionally, this position with provide front-line support to the field sales organization by engaging on CPQ-related questions, opportunities for enhancements, and product and sku management. As needed, the Sales Order Administrator will provide general sales operations ticket support.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process orders submitted in a timely manner
  • Develop and report on key performance metrics around order processing
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations activities, order processing, and ticketing, working closely with sales, operations and the revenue teams.
  • Guide the Sales Teams to ensure smooth opportunity creation to order processing during the sales cycle.
  • Assist with month end closing tasks including backlog as needed
  • Configure & maintain Salesforce to satisfy business requirements (workflows, reports/dashboards, custom apps and objects)
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Support, Inside Sales and Services to ensure smooth operation of the business and consistent achievement of the operational plan and growth goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years Order Administration experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
  • Hands-on CPQ (steelbrick or similar) experience a plus
  • Strong process improvement, planning, and organization skills with an ability to thrive in an environment where timeliness and accuracy are mandatory
  • Self-driven and out of the box thinking to be used to create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field strongly preferred
