Senior Events Manager

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage all aspects of event planning, meet strict deadlines, and stay within budget
- Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts while crafting and implementing the creative and logistical aspects of all events
- Remain current (or ahead of the curve) with trends in event planning, design, and production, and proactively identify and solve operational challenges
- Establish procedures and train staff to execute them
- Coordinate with internal staff, clients, and vendors to establish the requirements for an event, and serve as liaison to senior executives, government officials, and industry leaders throughout the planning process
- Drive cross-functional efforts to support all pre-show and post-show marketing activities including; email outreach, social promotions, marketing materials, sales enablement, swag and giveaways, reporting and metrics, etc.
- Lead all pre-show and post-show prep meetings
- Produce post event reports for Senior Leadership detailing event performance, tracking key metrics and assessing Return On Investment
- Lead and manage the development of speaking/presentation materials for Senior Leadership
- Manage on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 5 -7 years of proven success in event planning or coordination
- Strong project management skills
- Experience developing and executing event strategy
- Budget management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and an extremely high attention to detail
- Experience developing speaking content and presentation materials
- Ability to handle pressure and make good decisions quickly
- Experience in building and maintaining positive business relationships
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in event management or related discipline
- Experience in marketing or public relations
