Part of 98point6 was sold to Transcarent. In a $100 million deal expected to close at the end of March, business-to-business company Transcarent bought virtual care platform and primary care company 98point6. The latter will later relaunch as a software company called 96point6 Technologies with its offering that connects users to a network of doctors and provides an AI chatbot, texts and digital images. Seattle Tech Quote of the Week

“ResGreen’s adoption of our products is indicative of how rapidly the broader robotics community is adopting the latest autonomous charging technologies in general. We’re expecting further growth from new customers this year and we’re expanding our software solutions to provide both new and existing customers the tools they need to manage power across larger and larger fleets.” — Ben Waters, WiBotic’s CEO and co-founder

WiBotic and ResGreen teamed up. WiBotic, a Seattle-based manufacturer of autonomous charging tech, and ResGreen, a Michigan-based developer of autonomous mobile robots and other devices, established a new partnership. As part of the deal, ResGreen’s LilBuddy robots built for navigating small spaces like restaurants and offices will be able to automatically charge themselves using WiBotic’s wireless charging stations.
