Inspectify, a Seattle-based company offering home inspection solutions, announced its acquisition of Joule, a company that equips homeowners with energy efficiency insights from home inspection data.

Having worked together for over three years thus far, the two companies have developed a solution that standardizes the inspection data Inspectify captures into a personalized roadmap for achieving energy efficiency. Joule’s technology gives homeowners access to a static PDF report, an interactive dashboard and connections to incentives and rebates.

Joule’s acquisition will deepen the combined company’s commitment to creating an API for the home. Following the move, Inspectify can generate official HES reports as part of the home inspection process. This allows the company to help homeowners better comprehend their energy footprint and take advantage of eco-friendly mortgage products.
