Participate in a full-time summer internship focused on Grid software solutions and wholesale energy markets. Interns will solve technical problems, apply software and electrical engineering skills, and work with technologies including machine learning, deep learning, GPU applications, quantum computing, and conversational AI. The role emphasizes hands-on coding, analytical problem-solving, professional development, and collaboration within GE Vernova’s Services and Engineering functions.

Leads software architecture strategy for GridOS Plan products across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, field, edge, and customer environments. Designs scalable microservices, Kubernetes, SaaS, data, API, AI, and front-end architectures; drives modernization, security, governance, interoperability, and deployment standards. Partners with product and engineering leadership, manages architectural dependencies, evaluates emerging technologies, and mentors architects and engineers across global teams.

Software-focused project engineering interns will solve wholesale energy market problems within GE Vernova’s Grid Software Solutions team. Responsibilities include applying software engineering, energy market, power systems, and grid management concepts; coding in Java and Python; working with databases and development tools; testing and debugging; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable energy software solutions.
