Lead complex power system studies and renewable energy electrical designs, including short-circuit, arc-flash, load-flow, harmonic, grounding, and power-quality analyses. Apply ETAP and other specialized tools to support utility-scale solar and energy storage projects while ensuring quality, schedules, and client-ready reporting.

Senior contributor on high-voltage substation design focused on protection & control and physical design. Lead QA/QC, redline and cross-check drawings, produce complex plans and specifications, mentor junior engineers, engage with clients, and perform occasional field visits (~10%). Serve as technical resource across projects and may act as Engineer of Record if eligible.

Lead physical design of high-voltage substations for renewable interconnections, producing AutoCAD drawings and 3D models, developing grounding, conduit, and equipment layouts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, reviewing subconsultant work, and ensuring compliance with utility and safety standards. Mentor junior staff and manage fast-turn deliverables.

Lead renewable energy engineering projects from kickoff through closeout, owning scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables; coordinate internal teams and subconsultants, manage risks and invoicing, serve as client contact, and mentor junior staff to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Lead demand-capacity forecasting for 800+ renewable projects: build and maintain WBS and planned-hours models, translate utilization and pipeline metrics into hiring and staffing recommendations, coordinate cross-functional resourcing, drive data quality and variance reporting, own forecasting system of record, and present forecasts to executive leadership.

Lead and produce detailed, constructible 3D electrical models and drawings for utility-scale PV and BESS projects using Autodesk Inventor. Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, resolve constructability conflicts, approve deliverables, mentor designers, set modeling standards, and support procurement, fabrication, and client reviews to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

Lead firmwide CAD standards, templates, and content libraries for utility-scale solar, BESS, and substations. Manage AutoCAD/Civil 3D configurations, QA/QC drawing audits, implement CAD tools and automation, train and mentor drafting staff, and partner with engineering and automation teams to standardize and improve drafting workflows.
