HR Operations Manager

G&A | Seattle, WA | Full-Time

As our HR Operations Manager, you will be the bridge between people and programs by creating and executing company-wide initiatives that enable our employees and culture to scale in pursuit of Highspot’s growth. You will have the opportunity to think big, test new ideas, and teach others. You are a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, constantly looks for innovative ways to augment and evolve processes and has demonstrated the ability to collaborate effectively across an organization. You have an innate ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on grass root level to improve the overall organization. You will be the face and energy behind our employee experience ensuring that benefits and compensation, employee life cycle programs and HR systems align to create a unique and engaging environment for Highspot’s employees.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs and processes (including core and discretionary benefits). Ensure programs are aligned with business goals, consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Leverage vendor relationships to help design and deliver competitive and cost-effective benefit and compensation plans.
  • Lead annual benefits open enrollment process inclusive of related HRIS processes.
  • Serve as main point of contact to answer benefit plan questions and facilitate resolution of escalated claims investigations and disputes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Partner with Head of People to implement and evolve HR strategies to support the agendas of the organization in areas such as performance management, talent development and organization design.
  • Maintain compensation structures and data that supports business goals and talent strategies including consistent job descriptions and job levels.
  • Innovate, build, and own programs that have a measurable impact on employee experience and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to understand program requirements and integrate those needs into the HR roadmap. You will advocate for the business and employees ensuring alignment to strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver communications related to HR Programs across all levels of the organization.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans for all employee-based HR programs.
  • Manage HR Systems and provide recommendations that improve employee experience and scale for growth. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage implementations.
  • Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years progressive work experience in human resources or talent management
  • Working knowledge in compensation and benefit programs
  • Demonstrated experience successfully scaling programs in a dynamic, high-growth or start-up environment
  • Strong project and program management skills and able to effectively manage competing priorities to meet commitments on time and with excellent quality
  • Transparent communication style with the ability to simply and clearly communicate compensation and benefits concepts and programs to all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer first mindset, and the ability to build credibility and effectively influence across the organization
  • Possess an experimental mindset and thrive in an environment where you are expected to create, build and iterate
  • In depth knowledge of employment law, employment legislation and experience in compliance management
  • Previous experience with HRIS systems; implementation experience preferred

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
