Position Summary:
Coordinator, Hospital Group Partnerships & Events
Trupanion is seeking a talented coordinator for Trupanion's Hospital Group Partnerships & Events team. This position will support the growth and maintenance of our veterinary group partnerships, while also supporting select veterinary conferences across North America.
This position is an entirely remote role open to candidates anywhere in the US. Candidates who prefer an in-office option may choose to work a hybrid schedule out of our Seattle office.
A self-starter who is excited about owning success, the ideal candidate is organized and passionate about building, enhancing, and nurturing relationships. Attention to detail, strong initiative and superb communication skills are a must, alongside being able to apply excellent business judgment to deliver results in a rapidly evolving environment. The role will require strong project management skills, ability to multi-task, and a passion for making things happen.
The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently to support our group partner ecosystem, while working cross-collaboratively with the Director, Program Manager, and General Managers to coordinate and ensure a strong representation at select veterinary conferences across North America.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate and support the operations and engagement cadences within our veterinary group partnership channel as laid out by the Program Manager.
  • Organize, centralize, and regularly distribute information on group performance across the business and to our partners.
  • Liaise with vendors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order for each conference.
  • Maintain event budgets.
  • Communicate key meeting takeaways via notes and reporting to ensure all details are captured and forward progress can be made.


Experience and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of coordinator or relevant experience in a fast-paced business.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines while maintaining team organization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all groups and/or events specifications are met.
  • Decisiveness and excellent judgment to address pressing project matters when faced with tight deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills, including efficient execution of tasks and ability to communicate challenges/barriers to effective and efficient workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Veterinary experience a plus


Education, Registration & Certification:

  • Must acquire and maintain a P&C Insurance license

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve ambiguity and drive results through consistent engagement
  • Spot and creatively breakdown complex operational barriers, often unique to each group
  • Strong organizational skills, prone to action, and dependable to follow-up and follow through
  • Self-starter with the ability to build a strong rapport and trust with group partners and event directors
  • Willingness to learn new software, tools, and methodologies.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
