Nintex is experiencing some red hot growth and is looking for a successful Account Executive to join our growing State and Local Government sales team. This role will work closely with government agencies to transform how they do business. You'll help create demand generation primarily in the mid to upper market range and help us to extend our reach with our channel partners to maximize revenue in line with the Territory Plan.  The best fit for this role is someone who considers themselves the quintessential hunter – a transaction focused business athlete with a proven track of success in a direct sales motion and possesses previous work experience in a SaaS company.

Your contribution will be:

  • Drive net new sales growth within territory/s
  • Achieve quota expectations
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts and engage with strategic partners to maximize revenue
  • Establish and strengthen customer relationships with the intention of driving net new sales revenue
  • Execute Lead Generation & Call program activities when required
  • Connect customers with partners when appropriate
  • Co-write Territory Plans and execute in collaboration with manager
  • Use CRM tools to facilitate multiple aspects of the sales cycle

To be successful we think you need: 

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
  • 6+ years’ experience of direct sales experience
  • Strong business development  and relationship management skills
  • Experience in Microsoft environment and/or Salesforce environment, preferred
  • Proven contributor to a sales team with consistent achievement of sales quotas with a focus on high call volume
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – great influencer, passionate about the team, loved and respected by partners and customers
