About the Position

The Partner Business Manager (PBM) will focus on partner (HPE) field engagement with the storage specialist and account managers to execute on the defined strategies to increase Qumulo sales. PBM will work to identify, educate, align and co-sell with all the HPE storage and field sales team. The PBM is a Qumulo brand builder within the HPE field and will identify joint opportunities and connect the HPE sales team to their Qumulo counterpart. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency. This individual must be highly motivated, self starting and take ownership of their role and responsibilities. It is critical that they align well with the Qumulo Territory Account Managers (TAM's) as well as the Qumulo Partner Sales Team for channel alignment.

Key Achievements & Responsbilities: 

  • Partner Enablement: PBMs must be able to provide training, on-boarding, partner productivity, market development and other critical process to enable the HPE field.
  • Lead Generation: PBM's must be actively involved in HPE marketing activities – work with the HPE marketing team at Qumulo to support unique events that are aligned to the markets, customers and verticals that Qumulo is targeting with HPE. Build metrics that can measure the effectiveness of the events that can be tied back to partner registrations and sales opportunities.
  • Business Planning: Develop a sales strategy and business plan for the HPE business in each TAMs region. The business plan will be used as a roadmap for a 'Go to Market' and program development, including sales goals. 
  • Build Mindshare: Focus on maintaining and deepening relationships with HPE field to create higher awareness and activity with Qumulo. Build trust and credibility with all the HPE sellers that leads to higher sales and business development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with TAMs, PSMs and all of our internal resources on the development and execution of the HPE partner sales strategy for each territory. Build a one-team approach with each TAM with their respective partners and internal resources. 

 Education, Key Skills & Experience 

  • 3+ years of partner experience is preferred
  • Past experience successfully selling software with channel Partners
  • Relationships with the key partners across the region 
  • Strong understanding of HPE ecosystem preferred
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree; or related field is preferred

Key Benefits

The annual pay range for the role is USD $127,000 - $182,850. This role has the opportunity to earn variable incentive compensation depending on the terms of the applicable plan.
Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
