Microsoft may acquire U.S. operations of TikTok. The social media app is especially popular among teens. Microsoft confirmed the rumors that it is in talks to potentially acquire the platform’s U.S. arm. [Built In Seattle]

GentiBio launched with $20M. The company draws on tech from Seattle-based researchers to engineer regulatory T cells, which can be used to treat allergic reactions and autoimmune, alloimmune and autoinflammatory diseases. OrbiMed, Novartis Venture Fund and RA Capital Management led the funding round.
