Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 Base + Commission

Position Overview

 We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand our 3PL sales portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, targeting companies that require warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution services. You will play a critical role in growing JDL’s presence in the North American market and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and acquire new customers in need of 3PL warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation solutions.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build long-term client relationships, understanding their supply chain needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to drive profitable business growth.
  • Work closely with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service execution.
  • Track sales performance and pipeline progress using CRM tools and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Represent JDL at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in 3PL, logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
  • Proven track record of closing new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing, distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, and supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to manage pipeline and reporting.
