About Kyra

Kyra is an enterprise influencer marketing platform working with brands like SharkNinja, Coach, H&M, Ray-Ban, and Converse. Our platform manages the full lifecycle — creator discovery, campaign management, content review, payments, analytics, and AI-powered intelligence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

👋 About the role

Permanent · Full-Time · US-based · EST Hours
Target Start Date: November 2026
We're hiring an Account Director for one of our biggest sports and entertainment clients. The work covers sportsbook, fantasy and live events, and the campaigns are judged on views, CPV and how quickly we can get from brief to live post.

You'll own this one account end to end, with two Campaign Managers reporting into you.

The account is newly won and growing quickly into the end of the year. An interim lead is running it until then, so you'll get a proper handover and join with campaigns already live.

We're looking for someone who has spent at least five years agency-side running creator programmes in sports betting, DFS or around the NFL and NBA, and who can show us the numbers behind that work.

🏟️ What makes this role different

One account, in depth. Most Account Director roles, run a portfolio of clients and build CM teams underneath them. This role is responsible for one is a single client. We need someone who understands sports, betting and the US creator space properly.

Senior and hands-on. You're the client's senior contact and you're also across the detail every day: who has been outreached, what's stuck in contracting, which draft is late, whether spend is on pace. You run the operations yourself.

Structure matters. This client tracks delivery milestones, feedback windows and their own dependencies against a timeline. You bring the process, keep the client to their side of it and keep everyone on top of dates.

Speed matters. Campaigns are built around games and moments. Turnaround from brief to live is one of the things we measure you on.

The category has rules. Sportsbook and fantasy content comes with age gates, state restrictions and platform policies. You need to already know how these work.

It moves fast. Briefs land with short lead times, priorities change with the sports calendar, and the client expects answers the same day. You need to be comfortable working at that pace without letting quality slip.

We are an AI-native business. Kyra is Claude-first and our campaign workflows run through our own proprietary platform, built with AI at the core. On top of that there is plenty of room to use AI tools to make your own working day more efficient. We are not looking for someone who is open to AI. We are looking for someone who is already getting real value from it: building their own workflows, automating the repetitive parts of the job and using the time saved to think harder about the client. You will be expected to bring that with you.

🏈 What you'll do: the GAME PLAN

Grow the client relationship. Grow the client relationship. You own the client relationship and retention on this account, and you’re measured on net revenue retention (NRR). You are the client’s senior contact at Kyra, accountable for strategy, approvals, escalations and commercial conversations. You keep them informed, manage their expectations and identify what we should be doing next with them. 🏆

Agree how the account runs. You own the operating playbook: casting, outreach, contracting, briefing, review, approval, go-live and reporting. You keep it current, and when a process is slowing delivery you change it. 📋

Make the casting calls. You set the casting strategy for every campaign: creator profile, tier, mix and volume. You set the negotiation approach on fees and usage rights and approve deals before contracting. You are responsible for compliance: 21+, state restrictions, platform policy and disclosure. 🎯

Execute delivery every day. You oversee every live campaign from first outreach to the moment content goes live. You know the status of every workstream, surface risk early and protect the quality of what we put out. ⚡

Pace the budget. You track creator spend and delivery against the contracted plan, flag variances early and adjust allocation to protect both performance and margin. 💸

Lead the team. You manage two Campaign Managers. You set priorities, review their work, give direct and constructive feedback and develop their skills. 🤝

Analyse performance. You agree KPIs with the client before launch, monitor performance in flight and adjust creator mix, creative or distribution when the data calls for it. 📊

Next campaign, stronger. Every campaign ends with a debrief. You take what we learned into the next brief so the account keeps improving. 🔁

📈 How we'll know it's working

We measure success by what the brand gets from us.

The brand hits its moments. Content is live when the game, the fixture or the launch happens. Creators are contracted, posts are delivered and volumes are met on the timelines the client has planned around.

The brand gets the reach it paid for. Blended CPM and CPV come in at or better than the agreed rate on every campaign.

The brand can react quickly. Turnaround from brief to live is short enough that the client can respond to a result, a trade or a trending moment with creator content.

The brand trusts the delivery. The account runs on a documented playbook, feedback windows and dependencies are tracked, and issues leave meetings with an owner and a date. The client does not need to chase us.

The brand brings us the next brief. The client renews because the work is good and the relationship is easy, and comes to Kyra first with new ideas. Revenue growth is shared with Client Solutions. The client's confidence in delivery sits with you.

What good looks like by month six. The account is running to plan without the interim lead, the client has signed off the operating cadence, rates are being met or beaten, and your two Campaign Managers can each run a campaign end to end on their own.

🙋 Who this role is for
  • 5+ years agency-side running creator programmes for sportsbook, DFS or fantasy brands, or US league partnerships (NFL, NBA)

  • Real numbers: CPV targets you've hit, creator and post volumes per month, typical turnaround from outreach to live

  • You've owned a senior client relationship yourself, including the difficult conversations

  • You've managed Campaign Managers while staying close to the work

  • You're fluent in views, CPV and CPM and can turn performance data into clear recommendations

  • You know FTC disclosure and the compliance rules around betting content

  • US-based, working EST hours

  • Not currently working on a competing sportsbook, DFS or betting brand

  • Organised, direct and calm when plans change at short notice

  • Experience in a fast-growing business or account, where the scope, the team and the client's expectations have scaled quickly and you have had to keep delivery steady through it

  • Already using Claude or similar AI tools to do real work, with your own workflows for casting, research, reporting or client comms, and able to show what they have saved you or improved

📅 Weekend work

Campaigns go live around games, fixtures and events, so this role involves some weekend work. Please only apply if you're open to that.

Kyra reserves the right to amend your duties from time to time in line with the needs of the business.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
