Position Overview:
Viral Nation is seeking a dedicated Account Director for our Technology department with a robust mix of influencer marketing, social media, analytics, content marketing and technology experience. By nature, they are a confident, courageous and strategic leader who excels in building bullet proof relationships with both their clients as well as their internal teams. They are known to bring value to every conversation, provide consultative direction to their clients, and know when and how to challenge the status quo within our ever changing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for leading, retaining and growing their dedicated portfolio of technology clientele.
- Lead the day-to-day execution of client programs, elevated brand storytelling, insights and analytics.
- Know the components needed for flawless executional delivery, and push for exceptionally creative and unique work across a mix of global clientele.
- Where required, influence and support services teams responsible for influencer engagement, paid social and measurement, in addition to managing client relationships, presenting technology products, developing proposals and delivering clear POVs on trends that impact.
- Manage development and growth to meet the demands and expectations of tech clients.
- Oversee the teams' influencer tech and tech & marketing campaigns through VN’s proprietary platform.
- Proactively build, partner and maintain strong relationships with internal departments such as Product Success, Management, PMO and Client Services.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology success strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to ensure a seamless customer experience across the entire customer technology lifecycle.
- Drive initiatives to increase customer net retention rates and expand relationships with existing technology customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring maximum customer value and revenue generation.
- Cultivate customer advocates and champions to promote brand loyalty and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to partner with Customer Success to measure and analyze key customer success metrics, providing regular reports to the leadership team.
- Identify trends, areas of improvement, and innovation opportunities, to enhance the customer experience.
- Partner with Customer Success to establish a robust feedback loop with customers to gather insights and address issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 6+ years of digital/social/marketing experience where technology played a role in the success of the product.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social media platforms including contract negotiations, content development and measurement.
- Experience managing multiple client portfolios across various and integrated service offerings.
- Expert knowledge of paid and organic influencer tactics.
- Proficient in interpreting where necessary information provided by influencer management software (such as Creator IQ, Klear, Tagger, Upfluence) and applying the knowledge to customer conversations.
- Excelling project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Possesses the ability to influence peers and manage stakeholders to align and execute the right decisions for the business, despite constraints and blockers.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- An analytical mindset with proficiency in using customer success platforms and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful customer success strategies.
- Expert grasp of social media platforms.
- Proficient with MS Office, Google or other presentation software.
- Software tools such as Hubspot, Kantata and Monday.com.
