About Us:

TARA Media is a growing digital marketing agency focused on helping brands scale through data-driven strategy, performance marketing, and creative execution. We partner with clients across industries to deliver measurable results through paid media, SEO, content, and digital strategy.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a highly motivated Account Executive responsible for generating net-new revenue through the sale of all of TARA Media's suite of solutions.

The Role:

As a vertical-focused Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving net-new revenue by selling our suite of programmatic advertising solutions. This role is built for a true "hunter" who thrives on outbound prospecting, building relationships with decision-makers, and executing consultative sales strategies. While opportunities outside these verticals are welcome, you will focus primarily on strategic growth across four core vertical markets: Non-Profit Organizations, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Brands, Automotive Tier 2 Dealers & Dealer Groups, and Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute proactive outbound sales strategies within targeted media verticals, driving enterprise advertising sales and cultivating relationships with local television stations, national broadcast and cable networks (e.g., Univision, FUSE, The CW), and major cable providers

·       Identify prospect marketing challenges and position TARA Media’s suite of solutions, including Audience activation, Data, Modeling, Social Media, CTV, Texting, Email, Direct Mail, and a full suite of Marketing Services to drive measurable business outcomes.

·       Conduct discovery meetings, deliver data-driven presentations, and lead proposal reviews with marketing executives, business owners, and agency leaders.

·       Collaborate with internal strategy and media execution teams to craft customized omnichannel campaign recommendations.

·       Build, track, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using our CRM.

·       Achieve or exceed net-new revenue targets and performance metrics, including pipeline growth, proposal-to-close conversion rates, deal size, and sales cycle efficiency.

Requirements:

·       Proven track record in digital advertising, media, marketing services, or SaaS sales.

·       Demonstrated ability to hunter-prospect, self-manage a full sales pipeline from lead generation to close, and consistently hit revenue goals.

·       Deep understanding of programmatic media channels (Display, Online Video, CTV, Digital Audio) and how they integrate into holistic marketing campaigns.

·       Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate value over price commodity.

·       Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills comfortable engaging C-suite and senior marketing decision-makers.

·       Self-motivated, highly organized, and thriving in a performance-driven environment.

Preferred Experience:

·       Established network or background selling directly into one or more of our primary target verticals (Non-Profit, DTC, Automotive Tier 2/Dealer Groups, Financial Services).

·       Direct experience selling Demand-Side Platform (DSP) media buying, CTV/Video, or MarTech solutions.

·       Background working within or selling on behalf of a digital agency.

Benefits:

We believe that a diverse, inclusive staff is a fundamental strength. We’re committed to hiring people of all races, ethnicities, religions, ages, sex, genders, sexual orientations, and gender identities. What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
