Account Executive (Education Technology Advisor)

Over the past five years, we have experienced significant growth while becoming a trusted technology partner to more than 300 charter and independent schools across the United States. We believe tremendous opportunity remains ahead, and we are intentionally investing in our Sales organization to accelerate that growth.

To support our continued expansion, we are adding another Education Technology Advisor to our Sales team as part of our continued investment in building a high-performing, consultative sales organization.

Our Education Technology Advisors serve as trusted advisors to school leaders, helping them navigate technology challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions that advance their educational mission. Success comes from building relationships, earning trust, understanding each school's unique needs, and guiding prospects through a thoughtful, consultative buying experience.

This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for developing new opportunities, managing the sales process from initial outreach through signed agreement, and building long-term client relationships that contribute to Inspiroz's continued growth.

Up to 25%, travel; including conferences, prospect visits, and client meetings.

Position Summary

The Education Technology Advisor is responsible for generating profitable new client relationships by identifying opportunities, earning the trust of prospective clients, and converting qualified prospects into long-term Inspiroz partners.

This role owns the full client acquisition lifecycle—from developing new opportunities and building strategic relationships through executing Inspiroz's consultative sales process and successfully transitioning new clients to our service delivery teams.

Successful Education Technology Advisors are disciplined business developers, strong relationship builders, consultative problem solvers, and trusted representatives of the Inspiroz brand.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop New Business

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent Outbound Prospecting Activities (OPAs).
  • Generate qualified opportunities through referrals, center-of-influence (COI) relationships, strategic partnerships, networking, conferences, and other business development activities.
  • Identify and pursue prospective charter schools, independent schools, and other mission-driven educational organizations aligned with Inspiroz's growth strategy.
  • Maintain consistent business development activity that supports individual and team growth objectives.

Manage Sales Opportunities

  • Own opportunities from initial outreach through signed agreement.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand organizational priorities, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Execute Inspiroz's sales process with discipline and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop tailored, value-based solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and successfully close new business.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to client onboarding and service delivery.

Build Strategic Relationships

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with school leaders, referral partners, and industry influencers.
  • Maintain meaningful engagement with prospective clients throughout Inspiroz's extended sales cycle.
  • Build credibility through consistent communication, thought leadership, and value-added interactions.
  • Sustain a healthy long-term opportunity pipeline through ongoing relationship development.

Represent the Inspiroz Brand

  • Position Inspiroz as the trusted technology partner for charter and independent schools.
  • Demonstrate expertise in educational technology, managed services, cybersecurity, and technology strategy.
  • Represent Inspiroz professionally at conferences, networking events, webinars, and other industry activities.
  • Communicate Inspiroz's mission, values, and unique approach with confidence and integrity.

Maintain Sales Excellence

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information, and sales forecasts in HubSpot.
  • Consistently execute sales activities and achieve individual sales goals.
  • Participate actively in MSP Growth OS coaching, sales training, and professional development.
  • Contribute ideas and best practices that strengthen the effectiveness of the overall sales organization.

Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of successful B2B consultative sales experience with full-cycle selling responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success developing pipeline, managing opportunities, and consistently achieving sales goals.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to leverage AI and modern sales technologies to improve prospecting, client engagement, productivity, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling managed IT services, technology services, professional services, or other consultative solutions.
  • Experience working with charter schools, independent schools, nonprofits, or other mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience using sales enablement and prospecting tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and Nooks.
  • Experience building referral networks, strategic partnerships, and centers of influence.
  • Experience representing an organization through conferences, speaking engagements, or industry networking.

Benefits
  • Base salary of $70,000-$95,000 plus commission
