Account Executive – ERP Sales (Construction & Real Estate Focus)

One of Pine's Portfolio Companies is hiring!

Alta Vista Technology is looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to fuel revenue growth by acquiring new customers and exceeding sales quotas with our award-winning ERP software and services.

This role is especially focused on clients in the construction and real estate (CRE) industries — so experience with Sage CRE or selling into CRE verticals is a must.

As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle with support from technical sales engineers, combining your industry expertise with a consultative approach to help clients solve real business challenges. You will be both a strategic “hunter” and a collaborative team player, helping shape the success of an industry-leading sales and marketing team. This position is a remote role.

Who Will Love This Role
• Construction/Real Estate Sales Expert – You’ve sold into the CRE space and know the pain points of project managers, controllers, and owners.
• Results-Driven Salesperson – You’re hungry to close deals and thrive in a quota-carrying role.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver – You love showing how technology can make clients’ jobs easier and more efficient.
• Process-Oriented Educator – You enjoy guiding prospects through a clear, step-by-step buying process.
• Team Collaborator – You like being part of a high-performing, tight-knit team.

What You’ll Do
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing
• Work with Sales Development Reps (SDRs) to convert qualified leads into sales opportunities
• Build and manage a pipeline of CRE industry prospects and decision-makers (CFOs, Controllers, Project Managers, etc.)
• Educate clients on ERP solutions (like Sage Intacct) as modern alternatives to legacy tools like Sage 300 CRE
• Partner with Sales Engineers (SEs) to tailor technical solutions to client needs
• Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services during the customer’s first year
• Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed

What You Should Have
• 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience, preferably in ERP or financial systems
• Proven success selling into the construction and/or real estate industry
• Familiarity with Sage CRE, Sage 300 Construction, or similar industry-specific platforms
• Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• A consultative sales approach and strong communication skills

Why Work at Alta Vista Technology? Alta Vista is an award-winning ERP consulting firm known for its incredible team culture, cutting-edge technology stack, and a customer-first mindset. We invest in your growth, provide world-class training, and encourage autonomy while offering strong team support. What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
