About Rundoo ℹ️

Rundoo’s mission is to build cutting-edge software that helps building materials suppliers enhance their businesses. Think of your local hardware store or mom and pop shop—these are our clients who we partner with across the country. From paint to hardware to flooring, stores across these industries sell over $1T of building materials annually using outdated, on-premises systems. We’re aiming to change by being the first in the industry to empower independent supply stores with best-in-class technology.

Backed by leading investors including Bessemer and CRV, we've raised $18M across three rounds and are growing quickly. Our team is made up of builders, sellers, and industry veterans with a shared goal: to bring modern technology to an overlooked industry.

About the role 💼

This is a fully remote, part time role. The role is defined by two goals:

  1. Serve as an accounting subject matter expert in supporting new clients in best practices for setting up their accounting integration with Rundoo - either from scratch for a new business or as part of merging over a prior system.

  1. Provide product feedback on new accounting integration features. You’ll function as part of the implementation team and collaborate with our client success team as a subject matter accounting expert for client questions.

We’re looking for someone who is a true subject matter expert and thrives on supporting clients in understanding and transferring accounting practices to a new system. This is a purely consultative role - scheduling, software expertise, etc. will be handled by out implementation team.

What you’ll do as an Accounting Consultant at Rundoo 🗒️

Primary weekly responsibilities:

  • Lead client calls for accounting questions and integration support (80% of the role)

  • Weekly meetings with the implementation team (5% of the role)

  • Bi-weekly meetings for product feedback (15% of the role)

  • Monitoring and responding to Slack channels for internal accounting questions and feedback

Requirements ☑️

  • Hourly Pay: $100/hour

  • Minimum 3 hours a week, to be paid out weekly

  • Minimum 20 hours / month for total commitment

  • Potential ability to transition into a full time role.
