Here, you will find a culture guided by inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health optimization on a global scale. Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together.
Care At Home ('CAH') is an integrated care delivery provider, managed by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team focused on delivering high-touch, community-based support directly in the homes of our most fragile, medically complex, and costly populations. Our approach is designed to reduce friction for members by addressing their physical, mental, and social needs according to their personal care preferences and the location they desire for care.
We currently serve over one million members across more than 17 markets. One of the unique features of our model is the introduction of a care navigator to each member. The care navigator acts as the ""quarterback"" of the care team, with a primary focus on connecting members to doctors, coordinating care needs-including member benefits-and ensuring members receive their annual comprehensive visit. They also link members with local resources such as transportation, home health, and food assistance, identify Stars gaps and help facilitate closure, and support UHC sales agents.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading critical revenue and membership accounting functions across complex healthcare arrangements, including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage (DSNP/CSNP), and ACO contracts. This role oversees key components of the monthly close, ensures compliance with revenue recognition standards, manages high-risk balance sheet accounts, and partners cross-functionally to support accurate financial reporting and forecasting. In addition to technical accounting ownership, this role provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to accountants supporting revenue and close activities, while driving process improvement and consistency across reporting cycles.

    • ACO membership and revenue accruals and multi-year true-ups
    • RAF accruals (current, EOL, and Final)
    • Management fee, admin fee, and specialty revenue entries
  • Ensure alignment of revenue and membership across RAM, ECAP, and UHC reporting
  • Own oversight of high-risk reconciliations, including revenue, AR, eliminations, and intercompany accounts
  • Review variance analyses, challenge assumptions, and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control standards; maintain high-quality, audit-ready documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external audit inquiries related to revenue and close activity
  • Review and approve key reporting deliverables, including:
    • Revenue Recognition Tracker
    • Statement of Net Assets
    • Cash flow commentary, forecasts, and best estimates
    • Quarterly asset reviews
  • Partner with FP&A on forecasting, trend analysis, and variance explanations
  • Provide insights to leadership on revenue drivers, risks, and emerging issues
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight to accountants supporting revenue and close operations
  • Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Actuarial, Operations, and Consolidations teams to resolve issues, validate estimates, and support reporting requirements
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for healthcare revenue and membership accounting within CAH

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
