What You’ll Do
- Manage technical accounting relationships with customers
- Provide technical guidance to the sales and the customer experience teams to meet the needs of customers of all sizes
- Assist with urgent customer requests and escalate as needed
- Provide expert guidance to customers on best practices for implementing the Blue Onion platform
- Contribute to building Blue Onion’s customer-facing knowledge base and in-app tooltips to help customers learn, implement, and fully adopt the platform for their use case
- Provide guidance to product and engineering teams on technical customer product requests and challenges to inform proper roadmapping where possible
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Blue Onion application and functionality.
- Advocate for the customer internally
Required Skills & Experience
- You’re an expert technical accountant, take ownership of your work, and are highly curious.
- You love working with others and teaching others new ways of doing things.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a combination of Big 4 and industry experience
- E-commerce experience is a plus
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, prioritize open issues, and manage multiple deadlines
- Work independently, and as part of a larger team, to utilize your industry experience and creativity in creating customer solutions
- Experience with complex workflow automation and reconciliation
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong collaboration skills
The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000 per year.
