About Knotch

We're a growth-stage technology company helping brands optimize their content performance and harness AI for marketing success. With a fast-paced, agile, entrepreneurial culture, we move quickly, adapt constantly, and thrive in dynamic environments. Through our Knotch platform, we meet our clients where they are and enable them to prove and improve their content. With our newest innovation, AgentC—a managed AI service for marketers—we're transforming how marketing teams plan, adapt, and execute across digital channels.

About the Role
We are looking for an Engagement Manager to lead the success of our enterprise beta programs. This is not a traditional project management role; it is a client-facing delivery leadership role with full ownership over outcomes, execution, and long-term account value.

The Engagement Manager will own 6–12 month enterprise engagements end-to-end, ensuring successful implementation, clear business impact, and a seamless path from beta to scaled deployment. You will operate at the center of our clients, product, and engineering teams — translating ambition into execution and ensuring our beta programs deliver real, measurable results.

If you want to lead the launch and delivery of new AI capabilities for enterprise clients, and play a central role in how it scales, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own End-to-End Beta Delivery: Lead multiple concurrent beta programs from kickoff through completion, ensuring each engagement delivers production-ready implementations and measurable business outcomes.
  • Act as the Client Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, leading working sessions, milestone reviews, and executive readouts while building trusted relationships across marketing, digital, and technology stakeholders.
  • Drive Program Execution: Own program plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk management. Translate client goals into clear execution roadmaps and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Partner Closely with Engineering: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data/AI teams to scope, sequence, and deliver work. Engage with distributed and offshore teams to keep execution on track and unblock delivery.
  • Ensure Business Impact & Conversion: Make value explicit. Ensure clients can clearly understand and articulate the impact of our beta programs, positioning every beta for successful conversion into long-term deployment and expansion.
  • Operate with Commercial Awareness: Understand pricing, packaging, and growth paths. Partner with Account Directors to support expansion while protecting and growing account value.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years leading complex, multi-month client delivery programs in a technical or enterprise environment, preferably within an AI or SaaS startup (marketing or digital analytics experience is considered an asset).
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust and lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort working closely with engineering teams, understanding system architecture, and navigating technical tradeoffs (no coding required).
  • Proven ability to operate between business and technical teams, translating strategy into execution.
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams.

Bonus:

  • Exposure to marketing analytics technology, websites, AI systems, or data platforms.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and accountable with strong communication skills with an operator mindset.

How to Be Successful

  • Own outcomes, not just process: You take full responsibility for delivery, impact, and client success — not just timelines or task management.
  • Bring clarity to ambiguity: You can take loosely defined goals and quickly translate them into structured plans, aligned teams, and forward progress.
  • Build trust at every level: From day-to-day stakeholders to executive sponsors, you create confidence through clarity, consistency, and results.
  • Stay close to the work: You’re comfortable diving into technical discussions, identifying risks early, and keeping teams aligned and moving.
  • Think beyond the beta: You don’t just deliver projects — you set the foundation for long-term partnerships and expansion.

Why Join Knotch
This role sits at the center of Knotch’s next chapter of AI. You’ll help define how its AI products are delivered, how enterprise clients experience them, and how they scale into a core part of the business. You’ll work directly with senior client leaders, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and play a critical role in turning early-stage innovations into long-term value.

If you want to lead meaningful AI programs, shape category-defining products, and have a direct impact on company growth then this is that opportunity!

The expected salary range for this role is $120,000–$175,000 USD.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
