This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. We provide integrated, mission-ready hardware that brings together multiple technologies into unified systems engineered to perform in demanding operational environments. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions.

The Administrative Assistant supports smooth and effective daily operations by serving as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and employees. This role helps maintain a professional, welcoming environment, coordinates front-office activities, and provides essential administrative support that enables teams across the facility to work efficiently and stay focused on delivering mission-critical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists customers and visitors, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
  • Answers and routes incoming calls to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Coordinates guest logistics, including conference room scheduling, meeting set‑up, refreshments, and catered meals.
  • Manages mail processing by opening, sorting, scanning, filing, and distributing items.
  • Handles visitor check‑in procedures, including issuing and collecting badges and maintaining visitor logs in alignment with security protocols.
  • Maintains cleanliness, organization, and professional standards across front desks and common spaces.
  • Supports Security team operations by photographing individuals, printing identification badges, and managing related documentation.
  • Manages office supply inventory by stocking, ordering, and replenishing materials throughout the facility.
  • Assists with general office operations such as printer maintenance, shred bin upkeep, and other routine functional needs.
  • Provides administrative support to other departments as needed in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • More than 2 years of experience in an office administration role.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use stairs.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
    The essential functions of this position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
