As a Pathfinding Device Integration Engineer, you will work at the groundbreaking edge of memory innovation, applying device physics and materials science to define what's next. This role is a place for curiosity and experimentation, focused on transforming novel concepts into data-driven solutions within our advanced R&D environment . You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable future scaling and performance improvements that make breakthroughs in artificial intelligence possible .
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate novel device concepts and material systems to support upcoming scaling and performance improvements.
Apply a deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and first-principles analysis to guide design trade-offs .
Lead technology integration activities, aligning device concepts and process flows into cohesive, actionable solutions .
Design and manage experiments in the R&D fab to optimize device performance and manufacturability .
Analyze inline, parametric, and probe data to evaluate operating mechanisms and sources of variability .
Partner with process development, modeling, and design teams to communicate complex technical findings and trade-offs .
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field .
5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and process integration .
Demonstrated record of innovation through patents, publications, or product-relevant solutions .
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills .
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced semiconductor nodes or non-conventional device architectures .
Working knowledge of semiconductor design, architecture, or R&D pathfinding environments .
Experience with TCAD, physics-based modeling, and materials characterization .
