Core Hours: 9 AM - 1 PM PST / 12 - 4 PM EST


Role Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on, player-coach Ad Operations Manager to lead and mentor a small team of AdOps Specialists while rolling up their sleeves as needed to support complex campaigns and troubleshoot issues. This person will play a critical role in campaign execution, team development, and process optimization, all while fostering a positive, performance-driven culture.


What You’ll Do
  • Manage end-to-end execution of CTV and programmatic campaigns, ensuring accurate setup, pacing, and delivery.
  • Serve as AdOps lead on key accounts and strategic partner to Client Success and Sales teams.
  • Supervise and coach 2–3 AdOps Specialists; deliver training, performance feedback, and mentorship.
  • Step into execution mode during high-volume periods or technical escalations.
  • Diagnose and resolve campaign delivery issues including underdelivery, overdelivery, and discrepancies.
  • Lead training sessions on optimization and troubleshooting best practices.
  • Ensure accurate QA and trafficking processes are followed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in internal workflows and documentation.

  • Campaigns are launched on time, accurately, and deliver as expected.
  • AdOps Specialists demonstrate ongoing skill development and increased ownership.
  • Campaign issues are resolved quickly with minimal impact on client performance.
  • Team culture is collaborative, solutions-oriented, and high-performing.
  • Internal processes and documentation improve in efficiency and quality.
You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising operations.
  • 2+ years mentoring or managing junior team members.
  • Experience running or supporting campaigns in the gaming industry, including UA or branding campaigns for console, mobile, or PC games.
  • Familiarity with platforms like The Trade Desk, DV360, FreeWheel, Beeswax, or Google Ad Manager.
  • Experience with CTV, MMPs (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer), and attribution methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; Looker experience a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  • A team-first mindset with the ability to coach and support others.
  • A track record of thriving in fast-paced startup environments.
You May Also Have
  • Experience running training programs or formal coaching systems.
  • Background in QA and process development for AdOps workflows.
  • Exposure to client-facing roles or hybrid CS/AdOps models.
