About the Role

We're looking for an Agency Partnerships Lead who can make Writesonic the default GEO platform for agencies worldwide. You'll own the full agency lifecycle: finding the right partners, onboarding them, and helping them win clients with AI search visibility services.

This isn't a traditional partnerships role. You'll build relationships with decision-makers at holding companies like Omnicom, WPP, and Dentsu while also helping boutique agencies pitch GEO services to their first clients. We need someone who can close six-figure agency deals and then jump on a webinar to teach 50 agency owners how to sell AI search optimization.

What You'll Do

Build Agency Revenue (60%)

  • Own the agency partner pipeline from prospecting to close
  • Develop tiered partnership programs (referral, reseller, white-label)
  • Build relationships with holding company leaders (Omnicom, WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG, Havas)
  • Close agency deals ranging from $10K to $100K+ annual contracts

Enable Agency Success (25%)

  • Build pitch workspaces that help agencies win new clients with GEO services
  • Develop training programs that turn agency teams into GEO experts
  • Host monthly agency webinars and roundtables
  • Build case studies that agencies can use in their sales process

Scale the Partner Ecosystem (15%)

  • Design partner certification programs
  • Create co-marketing playbooks for agency partners
  • Build a partner community where agencies share wins and learn from each other
  • Represent Writesonic at agency-focused events and conferences
  • Develop referral programs that drive inbound partner interest

RequirementsWhat We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience

  • 5+ years selling SaaS to agencies (social listening, analytics, or MarTech preferred)
  • Track record closing deals with holding company networks (Omnicom, WPP, Dentsu, Publicis)
  • Built or scaled an agency partner program at a Series A/B company
  • Deep understanding of how PR, digital, and marketing agencies operate and bill clients
  • Existing relationships with agency leaders you can activate in 90 days
  • Experience creating white-label and reseller programs

Domain Knowledge

  • Understands SEO/SEM and how agencies sell these services
  • Can articulate GEO value proposition to both agency owners and their clients
  • Knows the difference between selling to a 10-person boutique vs. a 500-person network agency
  • Familiar with agency economics: retainers, project fees, margin requirements

Builder Mentality

  • Creates partner enablement materials, not just manages relationships
  • Comfortable presenting at agency conferences and hosting webinars
  • Can design partnership structures from scratch
  • Ships new partner programs monthly, not annually
Why This Role Matters

Agencies are the multiplier. One agency partnership can bring 10, 50, or 100 clients onto the platform. We need someone who can build these relationships faster and deeper.

You're not joining to manage existing partners. You're here to make Writesonic the platform agencies recommend when clients ask about AI search visibility. We have the product (white-label reporting, multi-client dashboards, pitch workspaces). We need someone to turn these features into a partner program that scales.

This is a career-defining opportunity to own agency partnerships in a category that will be as fundamental as SEO.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
