Job Summary:

The AI Architect III leads the design and integration of scalable, secure, and sustainable Generative AI solutions within CareSource’s enterprise technology ecosystem. This role partners across architecture, engineering, and security to ensure that AI implementations align with enterprise strategy, platform principles, and data governance.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and oversee the architecture for Generative AI platforms, including LLMs, vector databases, and inference pipelines
  • Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to align AI design patterns with broader platform strategy
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and cloud-native architectures for AI/ML workloads
  • Ensure compliance with security, ethical AI, and data privacy standards across all solutions
  • Provide architecture governance and review support for AI-related initiatives and pilots
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable architectural blueprints and reusable components
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Ten (10) years of experience in cloud solution architecture required
  • Deep experience with Azure AI services, OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases, and API architecture

Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks, cloud security, and governance models
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels, from business leaders to IT engineers
  • Expertise in identifying dependencies among various IT teams and systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and the interdependencies between them
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently

Licensure and Certification:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate preferred
  • Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP) preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment with the potential requirement for extended periods of sitting or standing
  • Occasional travel may be required to meet with stakeholders and development teams

Compensation Range:

$110,800.00 - $193,800.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
