About Luxor

Luxor is the leading software and services provider for Bitcoin miners and the broader compute industry. Our full-stack platform supports gigawatts of compute infrastructure, giving operators the tools to monetize their compute, optimize and trade hardware, access financial instruments, and manage energy.

We believe that compute power is becoming the world’s next major commodity and our products are built to support this shift. Our goal is to become the leaders in harnessing, refining, and trading compute, unlocking a new asset class for the world’s most important digital resource.

As Luxor continues to scale rapidly across software, hardware, financial, energy and cloud infrastructure products, every team member has the opportunity to shape mission-critical systems, influence company-wide strategy, and contribute directly to the future of the compute economy.

Role description:

The Luxor team has built a range of solutions for Bitcoin mining and compute power. Our Hardware Desk facilitates the global trade of specialized hardware to our clients and trading partners — we move tens of thousands of machines a month and operate one of the highest-volume desks globally.

This role focuses on driving sales of AI/HPC data center hardware, including servers, storage systems, networking infrastructure, and full rack-scale solutions to enterprise, cloud, hyperscaler, and research customers. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in technology hardware sales, deep expertise in AI/HPC infrastructure configurations (with particular emphasis on storage), and an established network across OEMs, ODMs, and VARs. This role reports directly to the Head of Hardware and is a remote position based in the United States.

Requirements:

  • Based in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in hardware sales, with a strong preference for candidates focused on AI/HPC infrastructure, data center solutions, or enterprise storage.
  • Established relationships and existing network with OEMs (e.g., Supermicro, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Gigabyte), ODMs, VARs, and channel partners — with a demonstrated ability to source and move hardware at volume.
  • Deep expertise in AI/HPC data center hardware configurations, with particular strength in storage technologies including NVMe SSDs, all-flash arrays, JBOD/JBOF enclosures, parallel file systems (e.g., WEKA, Lustre, GPFS), and high-throughput storage networking (InfiniBand, NVMe-oF, RoCE).
  • Understanding of GPU cluster architectures, AI/ML training and inference workloads, and their associated infrastructure requirements (compute, storage bandwidth, networking fabric).
  • Familiarity with major GPU OEMs and accelerator vendors (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel Gaudi) and data center ecosystem players (NVIDIA DGX/HGX, Supermicro, Dell PowerEdge, HPE Cray).
  • Experience working with or selling alongside cloud providers or colocation/data center operators is a plus.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to speak credibly to infrastructure architects and engineering teams about hardware BOM, rack design, and system integration.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value hardware deals with enterprise or hyperscaler customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for AI/HPC data center hardware solutions, including compute (GPU/CPU/TPU servers), high-performance storage, and networking, across enterprise, hyperscaler, and small to mid-market clients.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across AI, HPC, cloud computing, and data center infrastructure markets.
  • Leverage and expand an existing network of relationships with OEMs, ODMs, VARs, distributors, and system integrators to accelerate deal flow and sourcing.
  • Advise customers on full AI/HPC data center configurations, with deep expertise in storage architectures (NVMe, all-flash arrays, parallel file systems, object storage) as they relate to GPU cluster workloads and model training pipelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including procurement teams, infrastructure architects, engineering leads, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) to align sales strategies with hardware offerings and evolving customer requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies across AI compute, storage, and data center infrastructure.
  • Represent Luxor at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to grow market presence and sourcing relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular pipeline and performance updates to leadership.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and solution demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

At Luxor we believe that meaningful contributions can be made by anyone. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, protected veteran status, or disability status. Luxor welcomes all!

Luxor does not accept unsolicited headhunter and agency resumes. Luxor will not pay any third-party agency or company that does not have a signed agreement with Luxor.
